Astounding for its number of effective gags, and it is a comedy that loses nothing on repeat viewings.  This is Farley at his finest.  Funny to note that whenever David Spade talks about this role as he often does on the tonight show, he is quick to point out how lackluster Black Sheep was.  This is a smart comedy and even a few moments of tenderness.

I can get a good look at a T-bone by sticking my head up a bull’s ass, but I’d rather take a butcher’s word for it. – Tommy

Synopsis: This road comedy about a perpetual screw up, Tommy Callahan Jr. (Farley), who tries to save the auto-parts store owned by his late father (Brian Dennehy). The latter’s dry-witted number cruncher (Spade) reluctantly joins the loud, awkward, but well-meaning Tommy in the mission, which is threatened behind the scenes by his dad’s widow (Bo Derek).

Country: USA
Genre: Comedy
Director: Peter Segal
Writer: Bonnie Turner & Terry Turner
Cast: Chris Farley, David Spade
Domestic Total Gross: $32,679,899

Favorite scene: (not below) So many to choose from, but one that stands out is the infamous Deer scene, Farley and Spade make it happen with facial reactions and physical comedy that goes unmatched to this day.  I will miss Chris Farley.
