Not only captures what being a teenager and a high school life felt like, but also embodies what life ought to be like.  The premise seems simple enough, our man Ferris decides to take a day off all in the name of sanity; saying goodbye to school and responsibility.  Don’t you wish you could do the same?  Well the movie is trying to tell you that you can, and should.  It’s no surprise that the film has been suggested to be a great anti-suicide message.  Who doesn’t feel like breaking out into song and dance at a parade after this movie?

Life moves pretty fast. You don’t stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it. – Ferris

Synopsis: Ferris Bueller (Matthew Broderick) is a legend in his own time thanks to his uncanny skill at cutting classes and getting away with it. Intending to make one last grand duck-out before graduation, Ferris calls in sick, “borrows” a Ferrari, and embarks on a one-day bacchanal through the streets of Chicago.

Country: USA
Genre: Comedy
Director: John Hughes
Writer: John Hughes
Cast: Matthew Broderick, Alan Ruck, Jeffrey Jones
Domestic Total Gross: $70,136,369

Favorite scene: Any scene with the classic Ferrari is right up there with the best of them.  You can have your shower speech, Ben Stein, and the famous fun home.  The Ferrari in this movie represents so more, do you think Cameron got beat?
