The best animated movies of all time (yeah I said, wanna fight about it?) are coming to Blu-ray. In anticipation of Toy Story 3 coming up in June of 2010, Toy Story and Toy Story 2 will be available in Blu-ray/DVD packaging come March 23rd, which means if you’re purchasing a Blu-ray, the DVD edition of the film is also included!
Disney has released a trailer promoting the release, which can be watched after the jump. Also after the jump, I’ve included information about the special features included on the discs. You’re welcome.
Anyone who claims they beat this game is a filthy liar.
Today’s Links are Brought to you by: Chakan: The Forever Man, a Sega video game released 1992. The game featured an uncommonly dark premise for the time of its release. The game is well-known, and loathed by many for its unusually high difficulty level, but still retains a dedicated, if small, fanbase. I still get angry about this game and I haven’t seen a Sega System in over a decade. We owned this game in the mix of gems like Battletoads and Bubsy, and never got close to beating it. We got so desperate one night to get past a level that we asked our Dad for help. I never saw more than the first level, gutted. Someone reviewed it, take a look.
The Toys Are Back In Town!
One of the best movies of all time is making it a trilogy. A full Toy Story 3 trailer is here (if it gets taken down blame Disney). It’s even got Randy Newman! Check it out after the jump. The story follows what happens to Woody, Buzz and the other toys when Andy goes to college and his old box of toys is donated to a day-care center.
Two facts about Michael Keaton; he hates cold soup, he’s totally underrated (see Desperate Measures) and misused (don’t see Herbie Fully Loaded). Ok I think that was 3, speaking of 3…Keaton will be playing Barbie’s main squeeze Ken in TOY STORY 3 next summer. Awesome. [Says: Empire]
Director Lee Unkrich said that, “Barbie is back, and this time she plays a bigger role. So naturally we had to bring in her companion Ken this time. And we can announce today that he’s voiced by Michael Keaton. He worked with us on Cars, where he voiced the bad guy, and he was a blast to work with so we invited him back as Ken.” Boring.
