tomb raiderGK Films (shrug) has announced that it’s acquired the movie rights to the Tomb Raider game franchise from Square Enix.  The film series will get a reboot thanks to producer Graham King (The Departed).

The new series is set to hit the screen by 2013. “We are very excited to be rebooting what is already a hugely successful film franchise and continuing the Tomb Raider phenomenon,” King said.

The previous two Raider films, starring Angelina Jolie as Lara Croft grossed over $430 million at the box office, so it’s understandable why they want to reboot and not just continue the series with her…no, no it isn’t – either way, a good reason for the pic on the left no?

WIN some FAIL some

Now, I know this sounds like an oxymoron because to be honest there are really (in the eyes of fan boys) no amazing adaptations out there. So let’s take a look at some WINS and FAILS.  Leave your own below and I will be sure to comment!
