2009 might go down as one of the most surprising year for deaths in the celebrity world; maybe none greater than the King of Pop Michael JacksonSpike Lee has directed a music video for the title song from Jackson’s critically acclaimed documentary THIS IS IT.  The video features scenes from Jackson’s hometown of Gary, Indiana, edited together with photos and footage taken throughout Michael’s career.

I don’t think I am the only one who think this is definitely not it.

It's very short notice. There's my pussy to consider.

"It's very short notice. There's my pussy to consider."

Brought to you by: Mrs. Betty Slocombe
What a perverted old woman.  Thanks to my parents TV programming I was forced to watch Are You Being Served for a good part of my life.  It was actually very funny at times thanks to this lady and her double entendres.  Mrs. Slocombe has two main gags: first off, as a cat lover, she consistently talks about Tiddles, her bundle of fluff, but this causes quite a few problems in that Betty insists on referring to her cat as her pussy.   Played by actress Mollie Sugden (sadly passed away this year), her mannerisms, facial expressions, and her accent which shifts from upper-class to Scouse at random, all make Mrs. Slocombe one of the most ludicrously funny characters on television.  Best of after the jump.

Reuters says it all about humanity: Coroner completes Jackson autopsy, film deal set.

Sony has secured the rights to release This Is It, a film using footage of Michael Jackson’s rehearsals for his tour which will be presented in HD, with some sequences in 3D, when it hits theaters Oct. 30. The film is being directed by Kenny Ortega (High School Musical movies).  The studio said the film will be drawn from hundreds of hours of rehearsal and behind-the-scenes footage — most of which was shot in June at Staples Center in Los Angeles and the Forum in Inglewood — as well as interviews with friends and collaborators of the late performer, who died on June 25.
