the hangover 3John Goodman is mad guys, but how could he be with a scarf like that?

Here’s a new trailer for The Hangover Part III that puts the focus back on laughs and plot (the first trailer was a lot of action).  Stu (Ed Helms), Phil (Bradley Cooper), and Doug (Justin Bartha) are taking Alan (Zach Galifianakis) to a psychiatric hospital, but the wolf pack is put at odds with Goodman’s gang of pig masked avengers.  Turns out they want Mr. Chow (Ken Jeong), who stole their $21 million.

Admittedly there are some laughs here, hoping the trilogy ends on a good note.  Will you be checking this out?

The Hangover Part III opens on May 24th.

Here is the first trailer for director Todd Phillips’ comedy sequel The Hangover Part III.  I say comedy, but this looks like an action movie.  Let’s hope it’s somewhat different from the previous sequel which seemed lazy at time.   “It All Ends” they claim, will Stu burn Las Vegas to the ground?  I hope so, we don’t need any more movies set there.

The film stars Bradley Cooper, Zach Galifianakis, Ed Helms, Ken Jeong, Heather Graham, Jamie Chung, Mike Epps, Mike Tyson, Jeffrey Tambor and Melissa McCarthy.

The Hangover Part III opens on May 24th.  Watch below:

THE HANGOVER PART III Is Happening, This Time With Higher Paid Stars

I’m not surprised of a sequel, no that was a given the first weekend The Hangover 2 unleashed its box office powers on us.  What I’m surprised to learn is just how little these guys got paid for sequel, $5M each.  That’s seems like a lot to us yes, but these are pretty Hollywood stars we are talking about here, they need some money to live on too.  All joking aside, for a sequel to the highest grossing R-rated comedy ever, it should allow for some cash to throw at these guys, as the sequel was for sure going to do well.

So now the stars are in talks for a big pay increase with The Hangover: Part III; the three leads are said to be demanding $15M each reports THR.  The three were paid less than $1M each for the original 2009 film, and as said before, $5M for the sequel.  The first film grossed $467M worldwide ($35M budget) and the second has pulled in $581M ($80M budget), so it’s not unreasonable to ask for some of that is it?

The studio hopes to start production this summer for a Memorial Day 2013 release.
