Edgar Wright posted a picture on Twitter today (see below) titled “Hard at work” referring to finally getting to work on The World’s End. Next to him stands Simon Pegg, who is probably thinking how in the hell will this meet expectations? Missing but not forgotten is Nick Frost; the team has worked together on Shaun of the Dead and Hot Fuzz and are on their way now to complete the Blood and Ice Cream Trilogy (also called the “Three Flavours Trilogy” as red strawberry is featured in Shaun of the Dead and a blue Classic flavor in Hot Fuzz. The World’s End is said to have green mint chocolate chip).
The busy schedules of all involved may be to blame for the lack of completion to the trilogy over the years (Dead was in 2004, Fuzz was in 2007), but who cares – they are working on it now for a rumored 2014 release.
FYI: The use of the three flavours/colours is a reference to Krzysztof Kieślowski’s Three Colours film trilogy.

Here is the full theatrical trailer for Brad Bird’s Mission Impossible: Ghost Protocol. As expected it looks awesome and should be a delight to see on IMAX. Here is the last trailer we showed you, which was also great encase you missed it. Bonus: Here is pro Tom Cruise running around the outside of the world’s tallest building [watch].
The film stars Tom Cruise, Jeremy Renner, Simon Pegg, Paula Patton, Josh Holloway, Michael Nyqvist, Vladimir Mashkov, Lea Seydoux and Anil Kapoor. The film is set to be released on December 21, 2011. Watch the trailer below:

Indiana Jones has taken a new form in our man Tintin, this action is just crazy. Watch for the motorcycle, that’s all I have to say. This is the new international trailer for the Peter Jackson-produced Steven Spielberg-directed performance capture animated adaptation of The Adventures of Tintin…whew! The film is due for release on December 26th this year, watch the trailer below and see all of our Tintin coverage here.

A new full length trailer has been released for Steven Spielberg and Peter Jackson’s The Adventures Of Tintin: The Secret Of The Unicorn. It’s looking good; motion capture might actually pay off with this film. The action looks amazing and should be a great time at the movies this holiday season.
The film stars Jamie Bell as Tintin, the intrepid young reporter whose relentless pursuit of a good story thrusts him into a world of high adventure, and Daniel Craig as the nefarious Red Rackham. Bell and Craig are joined by an international cast that includes Andy Serkis, Simon Pegg, Nick Frost, Gad Elmaleh, Toby Jones and Mackenzie Crook.
The film comes out on December 23rd 2011. Watch the new trailer below.

After watching this trailer, I have one question; how can anyone not like Tom Cruise? The man is nearing 50 and he’s doing his own stunts on the world’s tallest building. Cruise is one of the few actors who consistently puts 100% effort into everything he does. It’s shame people have seemed to lose respect for the guy, who only seems to only get better at what he does. Mission: Impossible – Ghost Protocol is what I should be talking about now, so here’s the awesome trailer.

The first trailer for Steven Spielberg‘s The Adventures of Tintin: The Secret of the Unicorn is here and it’s more of a teaser if you ask me. We don’t get to see a lot of faces, they still working on post? We do however see some action, and that is what Tintin is all about.
The film stars just a few big names – Jamie Bell, Daniel Craig, Mackenzie Crook, Andy Serkis, Simon Pegg, Nick Frost, Cary Elwes, Toby Jones, and Daniel Mays. Steven Moffat (Doctor Who), Joe Cornish (Attack the Block), and Edgar Wright (Shaun of the Dead) wrote the script with Peter Jackson co-producing the film. The Adventures of Tintin: The Secret of the Unicorn opens in 3D on December 23rd.

Here is the uncensored Red Band trailer for director Greg Mottola’s (Superbad/Adventureland) comedy Paul starring Simon Pegg and Nick Frost (and an alien voiced by Seth Rogen). Paul hits theaters on March 18th 2011.
Synopsis: Simon Pegg and Nick Frost reunite for the comedy adventure Paul as two sci-fi geeks whose pilgrimage takes them to America’s UFO heartland. While there, they accidentally meet an alien who brings them on an insane road trip that alters their universe forever. For the past 60 years, an alien named Paul (voiced by Seth Rogen) has been hanging out at a top-secret military base. For reasons unknown, the space-travelling smart ass decides to escape the compound and hop on the first vehicle out of town—a rented RV containing Earthlings Graeme Willy (Pegg) and Clive Collings (Frost). Chased by federal agents and the fanatical father of a young woman that they accidentally kidnap, Graeme and Clive hatch a fumbling escape plan to return Paul to his mother ship. We have the first teaser trailer for Greg Mottola’s (Superbad, Adventureland) sci-fi adventure comedy Paul which was written by and stars Simon Pegg and Nick Frost (Hot Fuzz, Shaun of the Dead).
Mottola is a solid director and Pegg and Frost are pretty well known for their great British humor seen in Hot Fuzz and Shaun of the Dead. From what I hear, this movie takes a more broader approach with the comedy. I worry this means Paul could have starred any two comedic actors and not had the Pegg and Frost touch. Let’s hope not.
