What?! A book review!  Yes, The Mayor can read (slowly) and will stop talking in the third person right now.  In this edition Sarah Silverman makes her literary debut with The Bedwetter: Stories of Courage, Redemption, and Pee. Silverman I should add is one of my favorite comedians, she does great things with TV and film and so obviously a book was the next step.  If you are a fan of her famous internet videos (an example below) and The Sarah Silverman Program consider yourself a fan and pick up this book.  It’s irreverent, funny and sometimes emotional.  I’ll explain… (more…)

You will find that not every post on CoF is about film.   My obvious love for The Simpsons and or Ricky Gervais will show weekly.  This time it is Bill Maher and his HBO show Real Time.  Every Friday I get to watch this show and I am in awe again and again.  The show with the most balls with the smartest man on TV.  Fact.

This past week Sarah Silverman delighted us with a one on one interview with Maher, and if the holocaust wasn’t funny before this should do it.  My girlfriend knows that I am truthful and will always be around as long as she will have me, but baby I have to tell you, I knew Sarah Silverman before you, so if ever the chance came my way to be her punchline, I’m out!
