Trailer for Wes Anderson’s THE GRAND BUDAPEST HOTEL

grand

Here is the first trailer for Wes Anderson’s latest film The Grand Budapest Hotel.  A lot of people like everything Anderson touches, and there’s folks like me who do not.  Give me Bottle Rocket, Rushmore and The Royal Tenenbaums any day and I’m happy.  His latest films seem more and more self-aware, people love the quirky and different style; but he’s in one it now, it’s not so much fun.  That being said, here we have Ralph Fiennes doing comedy – so  now I’m torn.

THE GRAND BUDAPEST HOTEL recounts the adventures of Gustave H, a legendary concierge at a famous European hotel between the wars, and Zero Moustafa, the lobby boy who becomes his most trusted friend. The story involves the theft and recovery of a priceless Renaissance painting and the battle for an enormous family fortune — all against the back-drop of a suddenly and dramatically changing Continent.

The film has some obvious stars with Edward Norton, Adrien Brody, Owen Wilson, Bill Murray and Jason Schwarztman.  It’s also starring Saoirse Ronan, F. Murray Abraham, Mathieu Amalric, Willem Dafoe, Lea Seydoux, Jeff Goldblum, Jude Law, Tilda Swinton, Harvey Keitel, Tony Revolori, and Tom Wilkinson.

Hit the jump to watch the trailer, The Grand Budapest Hotel opens March 7, 2014.
