An animated version of the record breaking podcasting series, the 13-episode half-hour comedy series is voiced by Ricky Gervais, Stephen Merchant, and Karl Pilkington, colleague and friend, whose offbeat musings inspire many of the storylines. Some of the topics covered include: the merits of 20th century inventions; Karl’s suggestion for population control; how philosophy has evolved through the ages; Karl’s round head; and his thoughts on charity. Regular features include “Monkey News” and readings from Karl’s journal.
There is going to be 13 episodes this season and maybe more to come. It’s the only thing I listen to before going to bed every night, annoying my girlfriend with insane laughter. Do yourself a favor:
