Here’s a new trailer for The Hangover Part III that puts the focus back on laughs and plot (the first trailer was a lot of action).  Stu (Ed Helms), Phil (Bradley Cooper), and Doug (Justin Bartha) are taking Alan (Zach Galifianakis) to a psychiatric hospital, but the wolf pack is put at odds with Goodman’s gang of pig masked avengers.  Turns out they want Mr. Chow (Ken Jeong), who stole their $21 million.

Admittedly there are some laughs here, hoping the trilogy ends on a good note.  Will you be checking this out?

First Trailer for MAMA Presented by Guillermo del Toro

Thursday, September 13th, 2012

mama

Creepy little girls, well that’s just great.  The trailer is just missing a slow motion skip-rope scene to keep me up tonight.  Mama is a movie produced by Guillermo del Toro and starring Jessica Chastain and Nikolaj Coster-Waldau as a couple who takes in two sisters discovered living alone in the woods five years after the mysterious death of their parents.

If supernatural scares are your thing, you will enjoy this one.  Guillermo del Toro doesn’t disappoint as director ( Pan’s Labyrinth) or producer (The Orphanage) which is another factor to consider.

Check out the first trailer for Mama below, the movie has a January 13th, 2013 release date.

Synopsis and Poster for THE LAST STAND Starring Arnold Schwarzenegger, Also THE TOMB

Click to size.

Arnold seems to be all over the place these days, you get see him in The Expendables 2 and not too long after in The Last Stand on January 18th next year.  Click the thumbnail on the left to see him in all his glory, I’m getting Walking Tall vibes here guys.  Funny thing is, the movie also stars Johnny Knoxville, who was in the remake of Walking Tall with The Rock.  My point has been made I think.

Look for a trailer this week, or see it in theaters with The Expendables 2 this weekend.

After leaving his LAPD narcotics post following a bungled operation that left him wracked with remorse and regret, Sheriff Ray Owens (Schwarzenegger) moved out of Los Angeles and settled into a life fighting what little crime takes place in sleepy border town Sommerton Junction. But that peaceful existence is shattered when Gabriel Cortez (Eduardo Noriega), the most notorious, wanted drug kingpin in the western hemisphere, makes a deadly yet spectacular escape from an FBI prisoner convoy. With the help of a fierce band of lawless mercenaries led by the icy Burrell (Peter Stormare), Cortez begins racing towards the US-Mexico border at 250 mph in a specially-outfitted Corvette ZR1 with a hostage in tow. Cortez’ path: straight through Summerton Junction, where the whole of the U.S. law enforcement, including Agent John Bannister (Forest Whitaker) will have their final opportunity to intercept him before the violent fugitive slips across the border forever. At first reluctant to become involved, and then counted out because of the perceived ineptitude of his small town force, Owens ultimately rallies his team and takes the matter into his own hands, setting the stage for a classic showdown.

Here’s the first picture released for The Tomb starring  Arnold Schwarzenegger and Sylvester Stallone, awesome isn’t it?  In the movie Sylvester Stallone stars as an expert security specialist who gets thrown into a prison he designed when he’s wrongly committed for a murder rap in this prison breakout action thriller from director Mikael Hafstrom. Arnold Schwarzenegger co-stars as an inmate.
