Here is the new US trailer for ParaNorman, the great looking stop-motion animated film from Chris Butler (Coraline) and Sam Fell (The Tale of Despereaux). We showed you two other trailer worth watching last year.
In “ParaNorman,” a small town comes under siege by zombies. Who can it call? Only misunderstood local boy Norman, who is able to speak with the dead. In addition to the zombies, he’ll have to take on ghosts, witches and, worst, of all, moronic grown-ups, to save his town from a centuries-old curse. But this young ghoul whisperer may find his paranormal activities pushed to their otherworldly limits.
ParaNorman opens in the US on August 17, 2012 and in the UK on September 14, 2012.

Director Mary Harron is back a new adaptation, The Moth Diaries, a novel by Rachel Klein. It follows two best friends at an all-girls boarding school whose relationship looks be to torn after the arrival of a new student with a mysterious way about her.
It looks interesting enough, a lot of strange touches to get people watching. I’ve heard from some people who read the book that the ending is really up to you, which is always a letdown with movies isn’t it? Think for me already!
The Moth Diaries will be available on iTunes, VOD and other digital means starting March 20th. It will have a theatrical release on April 20th. Check out the synopsis and trailer below:

The film stars Jeremy Renner, Rachel Weisz, Oscar Isaac, Joan Allen, Albert Finney, and Edward Norton. The Bourne Legacy opens August 3rd.

The Dark Knight Rises IMAX prologue is coming, the viral marketing campaign is going on now, and we have an amazing new poster (click here or thumbnail). It’s almost a sad tagline, “The Legend Ends”, as we know this is Nolan’s last Batman movie and avoiding any spoilers – we can tell you if they are going with the comic book legacy, Bane hurts Batman, hurts him real bad.
The Dark Knight Rises will be in theaters on July 20, 2012. More on the prologue here. The first cool poster is here.

Here’s the teaser trailer for Snow White and the Huntsman, the film stars Kristen Stewart as Snow White, Charlize Theron as the evil queen, Sam Claflin as the Prince, and Chris Hemsworth as the Huntsman who is tasked with killing Snow White, but preserves her life and trains her in survival and combat instead. Normal? Snow White and the Huntsman will be released on June 1, 2012.
Watch the trailer below, it does a good job at hiding Kristen Stewart lack of talent.

Here’s a great poster for Jeff Nichols‘s psychological drama Take Shelter starring the always amazing Michael Shannon. You can watch the trailer for the film below as well, and check out the teaser for Boardwalk Empire season we posted over here. Shannon is in for a very big year and it continues with Man of Steel next year when he plays Zod [see]. He’s one of my favorites and I can’t wait to see Take Shelter, it looks like I won’t have to wait long as the film is being released in September. Trailer:
