If for no other reason...Bill Hader ladies and gentlemen.
Have a great weekend everyone, check back Sunday night for a Box Office Report and as always, we return Monday with a brand new City Strip (in color!). For those who missed it (shame on you) our Greatest Bathroom Brawls list seemed to make some waves around the internets recently, check it out. And Here We…Go!
PAUL – IMDB – RT (68%)
Did you answer yes to this posts headline question? Then you may enjoy Paul, “from the dudes who brought you” laughs such as Superbad (Greg Mottola) Shaun of the Dead/Hot Fuzz (stars Nick Frost and Simon Pegg) comes a story that is OUT OF THIS WORLD! No but seriously, Two British comic-book geeks traveling across the U.S. encounter an alien outside Area 51. It’s going to get compared to the other movies, there is no going around that.
THE LINCOLN LAWYER – IMDB – RT (81%)
Matthew McConaughey is a Los Angeles criminal defense attorney who operates out of the back of his Lincoln sedan…oh, duh! Now I get it. He lands a defending Ryan Phillippe, who is accused of rape and attempted murder. Why not get his name cleared from starring in Antitrust first?
LIMITLESS – IMDB – RT (64%)
Bradley Cooper is suffering from chronic writer’s block so he takes NZT, a revolutionary new drug that allows him to tap his full potential, all of the brain. Cooper can now recall everything he has ever read, seen or heard, learn any language in a day and comprehend complex equations…so it’s like Phenomenon 3. (why not 2?)
And Such:
- Real Time with Bill Maher (HBO, Friday) – Ambassador Michael Oren (Israel), Richard Belzer, Dan Neil, Erica Williams and Annabelle Gurwitch. I bet they talk on this episode.
- The Ricky Gervais Show (HBO, Friday) – Natural History podcast in cartoon form, genius.
- The Pee-Wee Herman Show on Broadway (HBO, Saturday) – You’re never too old to laugh at a child’s personality in a 58-year-old body. Are you?
- Big Love (HBO, Sunday) – The series finale for those keeping up with this show.
- Charlie Sheen: On the Brink (TLC, Sunday) – What more can be said about this great man?
