New Trailer for THE HANGOVER 3, Mr. Chow So Crazy

Thursday, April 11th, 2013

the hangover 3John Goodman is mad guys, but how could he be with a scarf like that?

Here’s a new trailer for The Hangover Part III that puts the focus back on laughs and plot (the first trailer was a lot of action).  Stu (Ed Helms), Phil (Bradley Cooper), and Doug (Justin Bartha) are taking Alan (Zach Galifianakis) to a psychiatric hospital, but the wolf pack is put at odds with Goodman’s gang of pig masked avengers.  Turns out they want Mr. Chow (Ken Jeong), who stole their $21 million.

Admittedly there are some laughs here, hoping the trilogy ends on a good note.  Will you be checking this out?

The Hangover Part III opens on May 24th.

hangover-trailer

Here is the first trailer for director Todd Phillips’ comedy sequel The Hangover Part III.  I say comedy, but this looks like an action movie.  Let’s hope it’s somewhat different from the previous sequel which seemed lazy at time.   “It All Ends” they claim, will Stu burn Las Vegas to the ground?  I hope so, we don’t need any more movies set there.

The film stars Bradley Cooper, Zach Galifianakis, Ed Helms, Ken Jeong, Heather Graham, Jamie Chung, Mike Epps, Mike Tyson, Jeffrey Tambor and Melissa McCarthy.

The Hangover Part III opens on May 24th.  Watch below:

HBO Orders Mike Tyson, Spike Lee Boxing Drama ‘Da Brick’

Thursday, September 1st, 2011

mike-tyson

The kids these days may know him as the man with the Tiger in The Hangover, but people as old as me remember him as “The Baddest Man on the Planet”.  I’m talking about Mike Tyson, who’s life is being brought to HBO in the form a of a TV series.

THR reports that the network has ordered a pilot for Da Brick, which is “loosely based on Tyson’s early life in the ring and “will reflect aspects of Tyson’s upbringing”.   The project is to be directed by Spike Lee and John Ridley will write and serve as showrunner. The show will take place in Newark, N.J., which is often dubbed “Brick City”.  If you need some Tyson to hold you over until this project arrives, check out James Toback’s 2008 documentary Tyson, it’s fantastic.

I think the last time I spoke of one of my brothers not letting me play with their toys was a board game, this time it’s gadget.  I can’t say for sure how many times I was the one being spied on in the house (we were all pretty good at it) but whenever I got my hands on this spy tech device…I couldn’t even open the damn thing!  Stiff and weird to handle; it really was made for the Soviets, this I am sure.  Check out this commercial and see for yourself.  Ninja vanish!

tyson chews scenes

Saturday, March 14th, 2009

TYSON is an upcoming documentary by James Toback that is sure to get the world’s attention.  It has been tearing up the festival circuit.  It features original interviews with the man himself, as well as archival footage and photographs that shed light on the life experiences of Mike Tyson.  Is he a monster or misunderstood?  I ask…why can’t he be both?

I never was one for boxing, and Mike Tyson was really the only entertaining thing to come out of it.  I have heard some messed up stories about this guy, you thought tattooing one half of your face was bad…yowza.  IMDB claims that it is looking at a April 24, 2009 limited release date.
