Why so serious?
Note To Hollywood: Michael Keaton would do another Beetlejuice movie. Talking to Moviehole about Toy Story 3, Keaton, says he would make a sequel “in a heartbeat…that’s the one thing I’d love to do again.”
Beetlejuice is such a great character and Keaton deserves all of the credit for bringing him to life on the screen. That performance was Oscar worthy. Last month, Geena Davis (who also starred in Speechless with Keaton) said she’d love to do a sequel, and it was even discussed pretty seriously about 15 years ago, to the point that a script was even written. And since Tim Burton is into remakes these days, I am sure he is game.
