William Fichtner You Are NOT The Shredder! The New Trailer for TEENAGE MUTANT NINJA TURTLES

Tuesday, June 24th, 2014

The posters are all here and now the trailer has been revealed. It’s really the first trailer where we get to see all the characters up close and the CGI is very noticeable; if that will be the worst thing about this movie is yet to be answered. One item from the trailer that was especially interesting was the reveal that William Fichtner, who was thought to be playing Shredder, is NOT Shredder. He is seen talking to someone in the shadows (obviously) who then goes mental with the sharp suit. So, one less thing to be confused about.

Here’s the official synopsis for Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles:

The city needs heroes. Darkness has settled over New York City as Shredder and his evil Foot Clan have an iron grip on everything from the police to the politicians. The future is grim until four unlikely outcast brothers rise from the sewers and discover their destiny as Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. The Turtles must work with fearless reporter April and her wise-cracking cameraman Vern Fenwick to save the city and unravel Shredder’s diabolical plan.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles opens in theaters on August 8th 2014, watch the new trailer below:

The Honest Trailer for TRANSFORMERS: REVENGE OF THE FALLEN Will Make You Angry All Over Again

Tuesday, June 17th, 2014

Transformers: Age of Extinction opens next week so what better time to relive the worst movie in the franchise, Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen. From “the director most likely to masturbate to an explosion”, starring Megan Fox, who “combines the looks of a professional porn star with the acting of an amateur porn star”. It pretty much nails everything you thought about while you were watching this garbage in theaters and then some.

It really was one of the worst movie going experiences of my life, and that’s saying a lot. Watch the honest trailer below and get angry again:

Megan Fox Jumps on TEENAGE MUTANT NINJA TURTLES Set, Film’s New Logo

Wednesday, May 8th, 2013

tmnt, teenage mutant ninja turtles

There are finally some first images coming from the set of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, the logo and Megan Fox as April O’Neil.  Not much going on so far, no sign of the turtles…yet.  We can see the the logo for director Jonathan Liebesman’s remake, or is it reboot? Re-imagination?  We will have to wait and see how this thing pans out, everyone have faith?  Here is an image of Fox on a trampoline, likely some CGI/green screen going on.

The movie also stars Will Arnett, Danny Woodburn, Alan Ritchson, Pete Ploszek, Jeremy Howard, and Noel Fisher.

Ninja Turtles opens on June 6, 2014.

How’s this disgruntled nerds…nailed it?

NINJA TURTLES Reboot Casting: Here Are Our Turtles

Monday, March 25th, 2013

Deadline reports that the rest of the Ninja Turtles have been cast; over the weekend we told you  Alan Ritchson (The Hunger Games: Catching Fire) is set to play Raphael.  We now know that Pete Ploszek (Parks and Recreation) will play Leonardo, Jeremy Howard (Breaking Bad) will play Donatello and Noel Fisher (Shameless) will play Michelangelo.  Did we mention Megan Fox was playing April O’Neill.

Jonathan Liebesman (Wrath of the Titans) will be directing the film that will take a less costume approach and use motion capture technology (Avatar).  Who do you think will play Shredder or Splinter?

Ninja Turtles come out of their shells June 6, 2014.

Megan Fox to Star in Michael Bay’s NINJA TURTLES, Could Be April O’Neil

Friday, February 22nd, 2013

The Internet said that Megan Fox and Michael Bay had a falling out during Transformers (she called him Hitler), but now it seems all is well between the two.  Bay announced on his blog that Fox has been be cast in his Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles reboot simply titled Ninja Turtles.

“TMNT: we are bringing Megan Fox back into the family!”

Some sites are saying she will be playing intrepid reporter and good-natured friend to reptiles April O’Neil. I don’t see any confirmation on that so I’ll leave it for now.  Casting is currently underway for unknowns to play the heroes in a half-shell, who will be motion capture animated in the live-action/CG hybrid picture due out in 2014.

New Trailer For Judd Apatow’s THIS IS 40 Starring Paul Rudd and Leslie Mann

Tuesday, August 7th, 2012

A new trailer [here is the first one] for director Judd Apatow’s This Is 40 is here, it’s a follow up to Knocked Up.  The movie follows Paul Rudd and Leslie Mann’s characters as they approach middle age.  I expect some laughs and crude humor, as well as some sweet moments; it’s an Apatow movie after all.  Albert Brooks plays Rudd’s father, now that’s something to see.

The movie also stars Megan Fox, Chris O’Dowd, Lena Dunham, Ryan Lee, Charlene Yi, Robert Smigel, Wyatt Russell, Melissa McCarthy, Jason Segel and John Lithgow.

This Is 40 opens on December 21st, watch the trailer below:

Trailer for Judd Apatow’s THIS IS 40

Friday, April 27th, 2012

Here is the first trailer for Judd Apatow’s This Is 40, the “sort-of sequel” to Knocked Up.  It takes a look at the lives of Pete (Paul Rudd) and Debbie (Leslie Mann) a few years after the events of Knocked Up.  There could be a great movie here, a dramedy of dealing with aging and adulthood is something Apatow should be good at as his body of work (Freaks and Geeks,  The 40-Year-Old Virgin, Funny People) has tackled it somewhat before.

This Is 40 opens on December 21st 2012.

Writer/director/producer Judd Apatow (The 40-Year-Old Virgin, Funny People) brings audiences This Is 40, an original comedy that expands upon the story of Pete (Paul Rudd) and Debbie (Leslie Mann) from the blockbuster hit Knocked Up as we see firsthand how they are dealing with their current state of life.

Trailer for FRIENDS WITH KIDS Has A Great Cast, Awful Story

Thursday, January 12th, 2012

Here is the first trailer for the comedy Friends with Kids, it was written, directed by, and stars Jennifer Westfeldt (Kissing Jessica Stein).  The rest of the stellar cast includes Adam Scott, Jon Hamm, Kristen Wiig, Maya Rudolph, Chris O’Dowd, Megan Fox and Edward Burns.

It’s another story of adult psychopaths doing something dumb teenagers wouldn’t even do, but they learn a lesson at the end, relatable to no one.  Adam Scott should be in better movies don’t you think?

The last two singles in the group observe the effect that kids have had on their friends’ relationships and wonder if there’s a better way. They decide to have a kid together – and date other people.

Friends with Kids opens March 9th, watch the trailer below.
