Here is the new full-length trailer for director Michael Bay’s Transformers: Age of Extinction. It has new characters, but the same noises from the first trilogy. There aren’t a lot of jokes this time around it seems, which can be a good thing because I don’t remember laughing with this franchise yet. Well, Dinobots are happening so that’s cool right?
The film stars Mark Wahlberg, Nicola Peltz, Jack Reynor, the great Kelsey Grammer, Stanley Tucci, T.J. Miller, Titus Welliver, Han Geng, Sophia Myles, and Li Bingbing.
Transformers: Age of Extinction opens June 27 2014 , watch the trailer below:
Here is the first fill trailer for Transformers: Age of Extinction, a movie that is so ridiculous, the main character had to be named is Cade. We get American flags and a girl in distress, this is definitely a Transformers movie for sure. This one takes place some time after the events of the third Transformers movie with a different set of characters. Mark Wahlberg is a mechanic who starts working on what he believes to be a junked truck, only to discover that it’s actually a Transformer. The metaphor there of course is that this is a reboot.
The film stars Mark Wahlberg, Nicola Peltz, Jack Reynor, Kelsey Grammer, Stanley Tucci, T.J. Miller, Titus Welliver, Han Geng, Sophia Myles, and Li Bingbing.
Transformers: Age of Extinction opens June 27th.

The Hot Tub Time Machine sequel was filmed this past summer and is wasting no time making its way to theaters. Steve Pink returned to direct and Clark Duke, Rob Corddry, Craig Robinson, and Chevy Chase returned to their roles from the 2010 time travel comedy. Adam Scott took over the lead role from John Cusack, playing the grown-up son of Cusack’s character. Hot Tub Time Machine 2 may be in theaters by March 2014 reports Collider from their interview with Scott and Clark about the upcoming released of A.C.O.D.
“I think Hot Tub comes out in the spring,” said Scott, after which Duke chimed in and clarified, “In March.”
Another comedy sequel people are waiting patiently for is Ted 2. Seth McFarlane had tweeted something about April 2015 in our last report, and he wasn’t too far off. Universal announced today that the follow-up will officially open in theaters on June 26, 2015. The following 4th of July weekend will see the Terminator reboot and Independence Day 2 hit theaters, so that should be a sequel heavy month. Seth MacFarlane returns to direct and co-write with Alec Sulkin and Wellesley Wild. No plot details yet, but I bet the bear swears a lot.
Here is the first trailer for director Baltasar Kormakur‘s (Contraband) 2 Guns. The movie is based on the graphic novel of the same name and stars Denzel Washington and Mark Wahlberg in an implausible story of two operatives from two different government bureaus who go undercover against each other only to be set up and forced to go on the run together.
The film also stars Paula Patton, James Marsden, and Edward James Olmos.
2 Guns opens August 2nd. Check out our Superheroes of 2013 post here!
We have a new red-band trailer for director Michael Bay’s upcoming dark comedy Pain & Gain. So this is said to be based on a true story, keep that in mind as you watch.
The film stars Mark Wahlberg and Dwayne Johnson as two bodybuilders who get caught up in an extortion ring and kidnapping scheme that goes terribly wrong, obviously.
The film also stars Anthony Mackie, Rob Corddry, Ed Harris, and Tony Shalhoub.
Pain & Gain opens on April 26th.
The onslaught of superhero and comic book movie adaptations over the years isn’t slowing down any time soon, and 2013 is proof of this. Some of these movies rank high on must see lists; others might be left in the dust. Whether you’re going to stream superhero movies or check them out in theaters, there will be a lot of options waiting for you.
A superhero is a type of character possessing “extraordinary or superhuman powers” and is dedicated to protecting the public. That’s how I got away with including some questionable “superhero” movies here folks. That’s why I wear a bow tie.
Find out what’s coming out and when. Let us know what movie you’re most excited for:
I don’t know why I even had to tell you this was a Michael Bay movie, the trailer does it for me. It’s over the top and looks like a lot of fun…bizarre fun.
The film stars Mark Wahlberg and Dwayne Johnson as two bodybuilders who get caught up in an extortion ring and kidnapping scheme that goes wrong.
These two sharing the same screen seems to work, there are some nice comedic moments here. The film was made on a budget of on $22 million, so it’s going to do very well me thinks. Hit the jump to watch the trailer.
Anthony Mackie, Rob Corddry, Ed Harris, John Turturro, and Rebel Wilson also star.
Pain and Gain opens April 26, 2013.
We have two trailers for Broken City for you to watch below, the Allen Hughes (The Book of Eli) directed thriller stars Mark Wahlberg
as a private detective who is hired to identify the lover of a powerful politician’s (Russell Crowe) wife (Catherine Zeta-Jones).
It will be nice to see these two actors come to blows; if there is a phone in the room though, my money is on Crowe. The film also stars Jeffrey Wright.
Broken City opens on January 18th.
In a broken city rife with injustice, ex-cop Billy Taggart (Mark Wahlberg) seeks redemption–and revenge–after being double-crossed and then framed
by its most powerful figure, the mayor (Russell Crowe). Billy’s relentless pursuit of justice, matched only by his streetwise toughness, makes him an
unstoppable force–and the mayor’s worst nightmare.

An international trailer for Hitchcock:
If you want to see how Seth MacFarlane played a Teddy Bear in his upcoming movie Ted opening everywhere this weekend, check out the video below. I’ll give you a hint, it’s motion-capture. I’m looking forward to his first feature film; you can see a red-band trailer we posted over here.

Family Guy creator Seth MacFarlane brings his boundary-pushing brand of humor to the big screen for the first time as writer, director and voice star of Ted. In the live action/CG-animated comedy, he tells the story of John Bennett (Mark Wahlberg), a grown man who must deal with the cherished teddy bear who came to life as the result of a childhood wish…and has refused to leave his side ever since.
