Top 5 Star Wars Stories That Need To Be Told

If you have been living under a rock for the past several months I have some exciting news for you, Star Wars is back! We will have new movies, new television, new games, new collectible plates, new napkins - OK you get the idea. While I have seen the detractors who feel this franchise will continue to be ruined, There are also others like myself who are cautiously optimistic. Sure there will be some stinkers as they release tons of television and movies, but with the might of Disney behind them, there will be good Star Wars adventures, I am sure of it. After months of day dreaming since the announcement that Disney had purchased Star Wars, I have compiled a list of my top 5 Star Wars stories I want to see told.

Lucas Says Hamill, Fisher and Ford are Pretty Much Signed for Star Wars: Episode VII

Bloomberg Businessweek has a new feature on Disney’s acquisition of Lucasfilm which includes George Lucas telling them that Mark Hamill, Carrie Fisher and Harrison Ford were pretty much signed on for Star Wars: Episode VII saying:

“We had already signed Mark and Carrie and Harrison—or we were pretty much in final stages of negotiation,” Lucas said. “So I called them to say, ‘Look, this is what’s going on.’” He pauses. “Maybe I’m not supposed to say that. I think they want to announce that with some big whoop-de-do, but we were negotiating with them.” Then he adds: “I won’t say whether the negotiations were successful or not.”
