Joseph Gordon-Levitt shows no sign of slowing down after a stellar 2012, he will be joining the Sin City sequel A Dame To Kill For. According to Empire, he’s got a lead role in Robert Rodriguez and Frank Miller’s graphic novel sequel to the amazing Sin City. He will play Johnny, an ultra-smooth character that didn’t appear in the novels, but was created specifically for the film.

The cast for the film which is now shooting includes Jessica Alba, Jamie Chung, Alexa Vega, Rosario Dawson, Jamie King, Mickey Rourke, Clive Owen, Dennis Haysbert and Bruce Willis.
SIN CITY: A DAME TO KILL FOR was developed by Frank Miller based upon his graphic novel, with a screenplay by Miller and Academy Award winner William Monahan (The Departed). The film will be released on October 4, 2013.

Here is a new international trailer for Looper, I have high hopes for this one, but when was the last time Willis was in a good Sci-fi movie? Levitt is having a great year with The Dark Knight Rises, he stars in the upcoming Premium Rush [trailer], and later this year will be in Spielberg’s Lincoln. Looper also stars Emily Blunt, Paul Dano, and Jeff Daniels (who starred with JGL in the terrific movie The Lookout.)
Looper will open this year’s Toronto International Film Festival, and open nationwide on September 21st.
In the futuristic action thriller Looper, time travel will be invented – but it will be illegal and only available on the black market. When the mob wants to get rid of someone, they will send their target 30 years into the past, where a “looper” – a hired gun, like Joe (Joseph Gordon-Levitt) – is waiting to mop up. Joe is getting rich and life is good… until the day the mob decides to “close the loop,” sending back Joe’s future self (Bruce Willis) for assassination.
