To hell with it, we’ve decided to go super optimistic with The Dark Knight Rises and have compiled a list of reasons why you should too. If The Dark Knight was the Empire Strikes Back of sequels, then TDKR is a combination of Return of the King, Last Crusade, Good, the Bad and the Ugly, Toy Story 3 and Goldfinger! How’s that for hype? July 20th, 2012 will go down in history as the day the greatest movie ever made was released and here’s why in no particular order: (more…)

CoF Presents: 10 Reasons Why The Dark Knight Rises Will Be The Best Movie Ever Made
Tuesday, April 5th, 2011Iron Man 3 Arrives May 3, 2013
Tuesday, October 19th, 2010
Walt Disney Pictures has set the release date for Iron Man 3 for May 3, 2013. I have yet to see the sequel; something tells me I won’t like it – it sounds like one long commercial for the upcoming Avengers movie. Iron Man 3 would come out almost one year after The Avengers, which is slated for May 4, 2012.
It’s said all the actors who signed on for Iron Man 2, signed multi-picture deals so Marvel and Disney can choose who they want to bring back. The biggest question is whether Jon Favreau will direct. Favreau has already said that if he returns, he would like The Mandarin to be Iron Man 3′s villain. [source]

Iron Man Writers Working On TMNT Live-Action Reboot
Monday, August 23rd, 2010Deadline gave us today’s scoop and I wouldn’t mention the fact that the Iron Man writers are involved in this story, but then I wouldn’t be able to talk about the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, and who doesn’t love to do that?
The reboot has been in development with Michael Bay’s Platinum Dunes and now Iron Man screenwriters Art Marcum and Matt Holloway have been hired to write the new movie adaptation. You may recall that last year Nickelodeon paid $60m for rights to the characters, and Viacom has been developing not only a new big screen movie but also a television series. There are talks as well that “The studio is looking at this as its next huge franchise, like Transformers.” Co-creator of TMNT Peter Laird said this last year about the movie:
As you may recall from some of my previous comments, our initial discussions regarding the next film had to do with what we were calling a “hybrid” — live action with realistic Turtles rendered in CGI and blended in. This new idea — which, frankly, I am VERY pumped about — will have actors and stunt performers in full Turtle suits for filming in live action. As of right now, there is talk of using CGI to do “face replacement” for the suits so that we can get those great, expressive faces possible with CGI.
The other ideas discussed were a “Batman Begins-style”, retelling the Turtles’ origin story. Laird said that they are planning to return to the roots of the original comic book series, which for those of you who read it, own it or can Google search; it’s going to be sweet. Sadly we are now looking at a 2012-2013 release.
Joss Whedon To Direct The Avengers
Tuesday, April 13th, 2010
Fanboys/girls, sit down; take a deep breath. Joss Whedon , the man who brought Buffy and Firefly to TV is going to be bringing us The Avengers to the big screen. I wish I could pump you up more, but I find this news to be beyond me. I don’t see how this type of all out superhero movie will ever be made without gigantic screw ups and controversy, especially with the cast. Will the cast playing these even be the people who already played them in previous Marvel films? My prediction now is this is going to be a fail, OK now to bring it up again.
The movie will bring together Captain America, Iron Man, Hulk, Thor, and Nick Fury along with a handful of other lesser known heroes in order to create the comic book blockbuster to end all blockbusters. The release date has already been set for the first week in May 2012.
The only feature film Whedon has directed to date is Serenity, I don’t know where I was going with that. It’s a decent film, but seemed limited to what The Avengers needs to be the biggest hero movie ever made. Whedon has some X-Men experience, as well as extensive work for other companies, including comic book versions of his own TV products.
Does he got what it takes Citizens? Would you rather the news been about this?
New Iron Man 2 Trailer, Iron Helps Us Play!
Monday, March 8th, 2010
Oh hi there.
The new full trailer for Iron Man 2 premiered on Jimmy Kimmel Live tonight. The trailer is pretty good, Pepper and Black Widow didn’t kiss or anything, so whatever. That should do it for watching Iron Man trailers; too much is revealed for my liking.
The trailer offers a bit more information on the plot, with a closer look at Black Widow, and Justin Hammer and Whiplash meeting for the first time.
Check out the second new Iron Man 2 trailer below, and tell us what you think in our new comments section. Iron Man hits May 7th. (more…)
iron man 2 trailer, more rock
Wednesday, December 16th, 2009
Iron Man is back in action — and this time, he brought some new friends. The trailer is here and the movie won’t be until May 7th 2010. So enjoy this, you may begin to rock out as I did. It looks like it will once again be a lot of fun and doesn’t have to take a backseat (rightfully so) to a Batman movie later on in the summer. Blink and you might miss Sam Jackson. Here are the high definition links: 480p, 720p, 1080p.
iron man 2 poster
Monday, November 30th, 2009Paramount and Marvel officially released the teaser poster for IRON MAN 2 today and we also get our first official look at War Machine (Don Cheadle) standing next to Iron Man. We might get a teaser trailer soon. I watched the first Iron Man the other day and I must say, not as good as I remembered. Hype maybe. Or is it that I watched The Dark Knight afterwards and then burned all the movies I own because they don’t even compare. You decide, I’m tired.

A soft drink that had small edible balls floating in it. Introduced around 1996 and quickly disappeared due to small edible balls floating in it poor sales. The small balls remained suspended with assistance from an ingredient known as gellan gum. The gellan gum provided a support matrix – something like a microscopic spider web.
You know when you are camping or even just drinking outside and you set your cup down, the cup of course filled with a proper soft drink such as Dr. Pepper or Iron-Bru? Well, it often happens that when you take your next gulp from said drink, you spit it out due to the feeling that a floaty (most likely nothing, but sometimes a bug) was in your cup. Gross hey? Yeah…way to package that Orbitz.
