Here is the first trailer for Wes Anderson’s Moonrise Kingdom, his first live-action movie since 2007. It’s everything you would come to expect from an Anderson movie, now with Bruce Willis. His movies are easy to like but probably easier to hate; so if you’re a fan, this looks like a nice return to form for the director.
Set on an island off the coast of New England in the summer of 1965, MOONRISE KINGDOM tells the story of two twelve-year-olds who fall in love, make a secret pact, and run away together into the wilderness. As various authorities try to hunt them down, a violent storm is brewing off-shore — and the peaceful island community is turned upside down in more ways than anyone can handle.

Sean Penn has lost himself in yet another role, this time around he’s a wealthy former rock star, now bored and jaded in his retirement he embarks on a quest to find his father’s persecutor, an ex-Nazi war criminal now hiding out in the U.S. I definitely would not have guessed that from the poster.
