Here’s a brand new trailer for Hercules starring Dwayne Johnson; the movie was directed by Brett Ratner and arrives later this summer. This time around, the trailer does the job of making the movie look more family oriented; he even comes home with bags in either hand as his children run at him, Kodak moment guys. Also, how many times do we have to see some women look over her shoulder with some sultry come hither grin on her face? We get it, sex is happening.
At least there is a slow-motion lion fight.
Hercules hits theaters July 25th, 2014, watch the trailer and check out the new poster below:
John Hurt is in this movie? That’s fantastic! It’s the first trailer for director Brett Ratner’s Hercules (poster and images here from yesterday), starring Dwayne Johnson. It’s a pretty intense trailer with Johnson taking on some CGI animals of unreasonable sizes. Bring this on, I suppose.
The film also stars Ian McShane, Rufus Sewell, Joseph Fiennes, Peter Mullan, Robert Maillet, Irina Shay, and Academy Award®-nominee John Hurt.
Hercules opens in 3D on July 25th, watch the trailer below:
The 60′s Mighty Hercules cartoon is magical, but sadly not on topic today. We have the first images from Brett Ratner’s Hercules which is “a revisionist take on the classic myth set in a grounded world where the supernatural does not exist”. It’s the second Hercules movie this year, but something tells me this one won’t bring the suck as much.
The story takes place after Hercules’ famous 12 labors, and has him “traveling with a group of mercenaries and cashing in on his famous name until he’s hired to train an army for an epic battle”. Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson stars and tells USA Today, “The No. 1 goal is to make the definitive version of Hercules. We know we’re going to be under a microscope.”
He’s certainly built for the role; did you see Pain & Gain? He’s a beast! The film also stars Joseph Fiennes, John Hurt, Ian McShane, Joe Anderson, Peter Mullan, and Rufus Sewell.

We have the final trailer for Fast & Furious 6, it’s pretty heavy on the action, cars and ladies. It’s a summer movie that’s for sure.
Producer Neal Moritz has said the film features two or three of “the best action sequences you will ever see” and noted that Fast 6 is the best film of the series yet. Judge for yourself when Fast & Furious 6 opens on May 24th.
The film stars Vin Diesel, Paul Walker, Dwayne Johnson, Jordana Brewster, Michelle Rodriguez, Ludacris, Tyrese Gibson, Joe Taslim, Sung Kang, Gina Carano, and Luke Evans.
We have a new red-band trailer for director Michael Bay’s upcoming dark comedy Pain & Gain. So this is said to be based on a true story, keep that in mind as you watch.
The film stars Mark Wahlberg and Dwayne Johnson as two bodybuilders who get caught up in an extortion ring and kidnapping scheme that goes terribly wrong, obviously.
The film also stars Anthony Mackie, Rob Corddry, Ed Harris, and Tony Shalhoub.
Pain & Gain opens on April 26th.
The onslaught of superhero and comic book movie adaptations over the years isn’t slowing down any time soon, and 2013 is proof of this. Some of these movies rank high on must see lists; others might be left in the dust. Whether you’re going to stream superhero movies or check them out in theaters, there will be a lot of options waiting for you.
A superhero is a type of character possessing “extraordinary or superhuman powers” and is dedicated to protecting the public. That’s how I got away with including some questionable “superhero” movies here folks. That’s why I wear a bow tie.

Here is the full trailer for Fast & Furious 6, and it looks like it’s more than just a little furious, this one has it all. Director Justin Lin helms this sixth installment and certainly knows what the fans want.
The film stars Vin Diesel, Paul Walker, Dwayne Johnson, Jordana Brewster, Michelle Rodriguez, Ludacris, Tyrese Gibson, Joe Taslim, and Luke Evans.
Fast & Furious 6 opens May 24th, watch the trailer below.
Since Dom (Diesel) and Brian’s (Walker) Rio heist toppled a kingpin’s empire and left their crew with $100 million, our heroes have scattered across the globe. But their inability to return home and living forever on the lam have left their lives incomplete.
Meanwhile, Hobbs (Johnson) has been tracking an organization of lethally skilled mercenary drivers across 12 countries, whose mastermind (Evans) is aided by a ruthless second-in-command revealed to be the love Dom thought was dead, Letty (Rodriguez). The only way to stop the criminal outfit is to outmatch them at street level, so Hobbs asks Dom to assemble his elite team in London. Payment? Full pardons for all of them so they can return home and make their families whole again.
I don’t know why I even had to tell you this was a Michael Bay movie, the trailer does it for me. It’s over the top and looks like a lot of fun…bizarre fun.
The film stars Mark Wahlberg and Dwayne Johnson as two bodybuilders who get caught up in an extortion ring and kidnapping scheme that goes wrong.
These two sharing the same screen seems to work, there are some nice comedic moments here. The film was made on a budget of on $22 million, so it’s going to do very well me thinks. Hit the jump to watch the trailer.
Anthony Mackie, Rob Corddry, Ed Harris, John Turturro, and Rebel Wilson also star.
Pain and Gain opens April 26, 2013.
In Snitch, Dwayne Johnson stars as a father whose teenage son is wrongly accused of a crime and is sentenced to 10 years in jail. In order to clear his son’s name, he goes undercover; keep in mind he’s not trained or licensed to do so. It’s a movie after all, so forget all that and expect some smackdowns to be given.
Snitch opens February 22, 2013, watch the trailer below:
Here is a new international trailer for G.I. Joe: Retaliation, the movie that was supposed to come out this summer but got pushed until March of 2013. Some say it was to work on 3D post work, others say it was for time to do reshoots to include more Channing Tatum. Either way, people going to a G.I. Joe movie shouldn’t have high expectations anyway.
G.I. Joe: Retaliation opens on March 29, 2013.
Check out the new international trailer below after the synopsis:
In this sequel, the G.I. Joes are not only fighting their mortal enemy Cobra; they are forced to contend with threats from within the government that jeopardize their very existence. The film stars D.J. Cotrona, Byung-hun Lee, Ray Park, Adrianne Palicki, Jonathan Pryce, RZA, Ray Stevenson, Channing Tatum with Bruce Willis and Dwayne Johnson. Directed by Jon M. Chu, and produced by Lorenzo di Bonaventura and Brian Goldner, from a screenplay by Rhett Reese & Paul Wernick based on Hasbro’s G.I. Joe(R) characters, the film is scheduled to be released on June 29,2012.
