New Trailer for IRON MAN 3, or Gandhi’s Revenge
The new trailer for Iron Man 3 isn’t as dark as the last trailer; instead it goes heavy on the action. Writer-director Shane Black (Kiss Kiss Bang Bang) might also be trying to give more depth to the character of Tony Stark after so many films. He has witness a lot, and after all, is still a man. The film stars Robert Downey Jr., Ben Kingsley, Gwyneth Paltrow, Don Cheadle, Guy Pearce, and Rebecca Hall.
Iron Man 3 opens May 3rd, watch the trailer below.
FYI: Including the bonus pre-credits scene in The Incredible Hulk, this will be Downey’s fifth portrayal of Tony Stark/Iron Man.

Here is the first trailer for director Shane Black’s Iron Man 3 with a more subdued Tony Stark (Robert Downey Jr.) following the events of The Avengers.
Marvel Studios’ Iron Man 3 pits brash-but-brilliant industrialist Tony Stark/Iron Man against an enemy whose reach knows no bounds. When Stark finds his personal world destroyed at his enemy’s hands, he embarks on a harrowing quest to find those responsible. This journey, at every turn, will test his mettle. With his back against the wall, Stark is left to survive by his own devices, relying on his ingenuity and instincts to protect those closest to him. As he fights his way back, Stark discovers the answer to the question that has secretly haunted him: does the man make the suit or does the suit make the man?
The film stars also stars Don Cheadle, Gwyneth Paltrow, Guy Pearce, Rebecca Hall, Ashley Hamilton, Jon Favreau and James Badge Dale.
Iron Man 3 opens on May 3rd, 2013.
Trailer for Robert Zemeckis’ FLIGHT Starring Denzel Washington, John Goodman
Robert Zemeckis returns to live action films after 12 years (A Christmas Carol, Beowulf, The Polar Express) with Flight starring Denzel Washington. Washington plays a heroic commercial airline pilot who miraculously lands a disabled jet (think Sullenberger but with more special effects).
After the crash, he is hailed as a hero, but as more is learned, more questions than answers arise as to who or what was really at fault, and what really happened on that plane? The film reunites Washington with John Goodman (Fallen) and other top shelf cast members include Don Cheadle, James Badge Dale, Melissa Leo and Bruce Greenwood.
Flight opens November 2nd.
Funny Trailer for ‘The Guard’ with Brendan Gleeson and Don Cheadle
Here’s the trailer for dark comedy The Guard starring Brendan Gleeson (In Bruges) and Don Cheadle. We go to the not so mean streets of Ireland, where a slightly foul-mouthed policeman (Gleeson) is ordered to join forces with an uptight FBI agent Wendell Everett (Cheadle) to investigate an international drug smuggling ring in the area.
The Guard is due to come out on July 8 in the UK, no word yet on a wider release.

Paramount and Marvel officially released the teaser poster for IRON MAN 2 today and we also get our first official look at War Machine (Don Cheadle) standing next to Iron Man. We might get a teaser trailer soon. I watched the first Iron Man the other day and I must say, not as good as I remembered. Hype maybe. Or is it that I watched The Dark Knight afterwards and then burned all the movies I own because they don’t even compare. You decide, I’m tired.
