Cringe.

Here is a new short trailer for A Good Day to Die Hard. We are reminded of his daughter and introduced to his son, it’s one big happy family! Where’s Justin Long?

Unfortunately just like the last entry into the franchise, the new movie is rated PG-13 too. Look at the poster, it’s almost mocking us. Thankfully they can still be entertaining and this one looks no different. They brought back a lot of glass and a crazy Russian, I’m in.

Trailer for A GOOD DAY TO DIE HARD, That’s Die Hard 5

die-hard

The fifth entry into the Die Hard franchise A Good Day to Die Hard has a trailer for you to watch below.  Bruce Willis is John McClane…obviously, and this time he is teaming up with his estranged son (Jai Courtney) to take on some Russians.

There is a lot of action here, which is nice of course, but the movie is still PG-13.  That bothers me.  Directed by John Moore the film stars Bruce Willis, Jai Courtney, Sebastian Koch, Yulia Snigir, Cole Hauser, Amaury Nolasco, Megalyn Echikunwoke, Anne Vyalitsyna, and Mary Elizabeth Winstead returns as his daughter.

A Good Day to Die Hard opens on February 14th, 2013, watch the trailer below:

DIE HARD 5: Less Jokes, More Action Says Director John Moore

Friday, July 27th, 2012

Die_Hard_5__A_Good_Day_to_Die_Hard

If there was a wish list of dialogue that shouldn’t be in Die Hard 5, you wouldn’t have to look further back than Die Hard 4 (2007′s Live Free or Die Hard).  All of the tech talk was laughable and anything that came out of Kevin Smith’s mouth was just frustrating.  Good news is that the director of the upcoming A Good Day to Die Hard says not to expect corny jokes.

The movie gets released early 2013 and takes place in Moscow, with McClane teaming up with his estranged son.  Director John Moore said some things to Empire that should make fans of the franchise happy, he’s downplaying the idea that the fifth Die Hard could be a “light-hearted romp”, they asked “No how can the same shit happen to the same guy five times” lines?

“No, because that’s preposterous! I don’t know whether it’s post-financial crash or whatever, but I don’t think people are in the mood for that bollocks anymore. People are well savvy to the cynical reheating of any product, any franchise. Any shit won’t do. The bar’s a bit higher… There are a couple of great gags and a couple of great McClanisms. It’s not like he’s this idiot, bumbling around Moscow making ‘America won the Cold War’ jokes. It’s not Carry On Die Hard, I can assure you…”

Oh, and he also said:

“There’s a car chase through Moscow that’s taking us 78 days to shoot.”

Well then, that might be that’s he’s doing a horrible job directing or creating one hell of a car chase.  Let’s go with the more optimistic outlook, McClane is coming back!

Die Hard 5 Has A Release Date And Silly Title

Thursday, October 13th, 2011

diehard

So I guess Die Hard 5 is happening, a release date of February 14th 2013 has been set with Bruce Willis to reprise his iconic role as John McClane who this time is on a international action adventure to Russia with his son, where the two characters get involved in a conflict with local forces.  So DH4 he had a daughter and now he has a son.  Die Hard 6 is probably going to have him saving his 1st cousins twice removed at this rate.  It gets better:

A Good Day to Die Hard.  That is the title.  Director John Moore (Max Payne) is set to direct the film [mtv].  I certainly hope they have Mary Elizabeth Winstead show up in some capacity, she’s easy on the eyes.

So for no reason, watch the Die Hard Angry Video Game Nerd video below:
