A new trailer for Ben Stiller’s upcoming drama The Secret Life of Walter Mitty. Stiller plays a daydreaming Life Magazine employee who goes on some real adventures to find an elusive photographer (Sean Penn).
It’s still on my radar as one of the most anticipated movies coming out next month. Now with this new trailer accompanied by the music of Queen, Of Monsters and Men, and Jose Gonzalez while showing off new great visuals, it might be a done deal.
The film also stars Adam Scott, Kristen Wiig, Shirley MacLaine, Kathryn Hahn, Patton Oswalt, and Sean Penn.
The Secret Life of Walter Mitty opens on Christmas Day.
One of the most intriguing movies to come out this year for me anyways is The Secret Life of Walter Mitty. Ben Stiller (who also directed the film) stars as a daydreaming Life Magazine employee who has to start going on real adventures in order to track down an elusive photographer played by Sean Penn. The first trailer (watch here) got a lot of people talking and after it’s recent NYFF premiere, people are pretty much split on it. I’ll check it out for myself and let the Internet know what I think.
The film also stars Kristen Wiig, Adam Scott, Shirley MacLaine, Kathryn Hahn, and Patton Oswalt.
The Secret Life of Walter Mitty opens December 25th, watch the trailer below:
Who would have thought that a trailer for a Ben Stiller movie would be good, but blow me down if this trailer for The Secret Life of Walter Mitty isn’t quite good indeed. For those of you who are wondering, the song playing throughout the trailer is Dirty Paws by Of Monsters and Men.
Neighborhood Watch has a new red band trailer and to distance itself from the Trayvon Martin case in Florida, it will now simply be called The Watch. The movie looks entertaining still, what’s in a title anyways? The film stars Vaughn, Hill, Stiller and Richard Ayoade. I suspect from the trailer there was a lot of ad-libbing on this one, nothing wrong with that when it comes to comedy I think.
An outrageous comedy in which four everyday suburban guys (played by Ben Stiller, Vince Vaughn, Jonah Hill and Richard Ayoade) come together to form a neighborhood watch group, but only as an excuse to escape their humdrum lives one night a week. But when they accidentally discover that their town has become overrun with aliens posing as ordinary suburbanites, they have no choice but to save their neighborhood — and the world — from total extermination.
Teaser Trailer for NEIGHBORHOOD WATCH Starring Ben Stiller, Vince Vaughn, Jonah Hill, and Richard Ayoade
The teaser for Neighborhood Watch can be seen below; it’s a teaser in every sense and could mean good things for the film. Akiva Schaffer (The Lonely Island, Hot Rod) is directing a script from Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg, the pair that wrote Pineapple Express. Not to mention Richard Ayoade who plays Maurice Moss in The IT Crowd is starring as well, nerds will understand.
The film stars Ben Stiller, Vince Vaughn, Jonah Hill and Richard Ayoade. They play suburban dads who form a neighborhood watch group to get time away from their families, only to discover a plot to destroy Earth. Sound about right doesn’t it?
Check out the teaser below, Neighborhood Watch opens July 27th.

The Boardwalk Empire season finale is this coming Sunday, here is the “To the Lost” promo, and it’s excellent. It’s been a very compelling season; a slow boil much like the first season with payoffs here and there. I’d like to think the season finale will be a stunner, you with me? Watch the promo:

It’s a slow news day, can you tell? Yesterday we shows you the 25 Greatest Unscripted Scenes in Film, today we have 25 Actors Before They Were Famous. I didn’t know Daniel Craig was in A Kid in King Arthur’s Court, I did however know that Joseph Gordon-Levitt was on Roseanne because I’ve watched the series enough times. Leonardo DiCaprio was on an episode in a non speaking role too [see].

A trailer has been released for the new comedy heist film, Tower Heist, which was directed by Brett Ratner. I almost didn’t recognize Eddie Murphy without his animated Donkey suit on, where has be been hiding? It’s nice to see Ben Stiller playing someone who has a clue, I don’t want to hate on him because he’s actually a really great actor when given the right roles such as Greenburg, Permanent Midnight, Happy Gilmore (click). Does Casey Affleck know he’s in another Oceans movie? So many questions…
The film is set to come out on November 11th 2011, check out the trailer below:
The Meet the Parents franchise comes to an end (so they say) with the third installment, Little Fockers. For me this franchise is something to watch that won’t leave me feeling any worse than when I came in, kinda like Father of the Bride with Steve Martin. The films cast that includes Robert De Niro, Ben Stiller, Owen Wilson, Jessica Alba, Laura Dern, Harvey Keitel and Barbra Streisand. NOTE: IMDB says Raven-Symoné and Dustin Hoffman star as well; a test screening was held last week and sources say they are both nowhere to be seen.
Little Fockers comes out on December 22nd. Watch the trailer below and let us know what you think.
