One of the movies I selected to see in 2014 is Darren Aronofsky’s (Black Swan, The Wrestler) Noah, so obviously there’s a lot riding on my assumption that it’s going to deliver. Paramount has released the Super Bowl spot for Noah online ahead of Sunday’s big game. The 35-second clip is packed, so sit back and take it all in. Russell Crowe, Jennifer Connelly, Ray Winstone, Emma Watson, Anthony Hopkins, and Logan Lerman star.
Noah opens March 28. Watch the spot below:
The highly anticipated film Noah from director Darren Aronofsky has come forward with two trailers to gaze upon. The film stars Russell Crowe as the titular character alongside Jennifer Connelly, Emma Watson and Anthony Hopkins.
The Biblical epic Noah looks exactly like what a Darren Aronofsky version of the flood would look like if you ask me. The visuals are amazing; these are real backgrounds and landscapes in Iceland we are looking at folks. This could make for some memorable movie watching.
Noah opens on March 28, 2014, watch the official and International trailers below:

If you were a fan of the first movie, this one will likely grab your attention. No more back story, they get right to the action which looks impressive here.

They’re back! The retired gang from Red return in Red 2 from directer by Dean Parisot (Galaxy Quest). This time around CIA operative Bruce Willis is up against the likes of Helen Mirren when MI6 greenlights his assassination as Interpol’s “Most Wanted.” Mary-Louise Parker and John Malkovich have returned and joining the sequel will be Catherine Zeta-Jones, Byung Hun Lee and the great Anthony Hopkins.

Hitchcock had its world premiere at AFI Fest this week, we showed you the trailer before which has generated a lot of buzz. Here we have a first brief clip from the film that focuses on the production of Psycho, specifically centering on his relationship with his wife Alma Reville (Helen Mirren).
The clip shows Anthony Hopkins as Hitchcock (looks amazing doesn’t he) directing Psycho’s classic shower scene in a very assertive manner. Scarlett Johansson is playing Janet Leigh. The film also stars Jessica Biel, Toni Collette, Danny Huston, Michael Stuhlbarg, and Kurtwood Smith.
Hitchcock opens on November 23rd.

Here is the first trailer for director Sacha Gervasi’s (Anvil: The Story of Anvil) Hitchcock, and it’s a great one. It’s full of great performances and shows a fascinating side to the story behind the production of Psycho (it wasn’t an easy film to make).
Anthony Hopkins and Helen Mirren as the legendary director and his wife; the makeup work on Hopkins alone is something to see. I thought this might have been a small move this fall, but this is looking like it’s in contention with the big movies and has entered the Oscar race for sure.
The film also stars Scarlett Johansson, Jessica Biel, Toni Collette, Danny Huston, Michael Stuhlbarg, and Kurtwood Smith.
Hitchcock opens on November 23rd, watch the trailer below:
Here is the first trailer for director Fernando Meirelles’ (City of God, The Constant Gardener) 360. The film was written by Peter Morgan (The Queen, Frost/Nixon) and tells the interconnected stories of characters played by Jude Law, Rachel Weisz, Anthony Hopkins, and Ben Foster.
I don’t know how much I like these movies that weave together stories and characters, it’s a bit played after Crash blew up, everyone was playing with the device. We will see how it works when 360 is made available on iTunes on June 29th and hits theaters August 3rd.
Sacha Gervasi’s Hitchcock (once titled Alfred Hitchcock and the Making of Psycho) is in production and Fox Searchlight has provided us with an amazing image of Anthony Hopkins as Alfred Hitchcock. There is a lot of makeup here; it’s so well done I would have never guessed that was Hopkins.
HITCHCOCK is a love story about one of the most influential filmmakers of the last century, Alfred Hitchcock and his wife and partner Alma Reville. The film takes place during the making of Hitchcock’s seminal movie PSYCHO.
