Everything Wrong With Roland Emmerich’s 2012

The fine folks over at CinemaSin have added another craptacular movie to their popular series of videos taking big Hollywood blockbusters apart.  This time it’s Roland Emmerich‘s 2012, and it didn’t get the usualy 6 minute treatment, this pile took a good 20 minutes!  Saying I hated this movie is putting it mildly; let’s watch the sin counter to get a better idea of just how much hate should be thrown at 2012.

Never before has a date in history been so significant to so many cultures, so many religions, scientists, and governments. 2012 is an epic adventure about a global cataclysm that brings an end to the world and tells of the heroic struggle of the survivors.

What I’ve Been Watching

It’s been a long while since I have had the chance to sit down, crack my knuckles and speak to the good citizens of the City of Films. While the spotlight has been on The City Strip, I have had a chance to sit down, fire up the telly and watch a few flicks. So to provide a few recommendations, and perhaps some words of warning, here are my thoughts on what I’ve been watching.
