Trailer for Alexander Payne’s The Descendants Starring George Clooney

When his wife has a serious boating accident leaving him as the primary care to his two daughters Matt King (George Clooney) is forced to re-examine his past and embrace his future as he learns the hard truth that she was cheating on him. The trailer for The Descendants does a good job at reminding us it’s an Alexander Payne film, as it’s common to see his characters in humorous situations one moment and a gut wrenching the next. George Clooney does well with both, so should fit right in.
