Trailer: Clint Eastwood’s Hereafter
Clint Eastwood has made some of the best movies of the last decade (i.e. Mystic River, Million Dollar Baby) and shows no signs of stopping at 80 years of age. He’s a great actor yet I find his strengths to be behind the camera as the man certainly knows how to tell a story. The work he puts into his pictures is astounding (i.e. composing scores for the films). So it brings me to his latest effort, Hereafter is due out this holiday/award season.
Watch the trailer after the jump and leave your thoughts. The official synopsis is below as well.
Hereafter tells the story of three people who are haunted by mortality in different ways. Matt Damon stars as George, a blue–collar American who has a special connection to the afterlife. On the other side of the world, Marie (Cecile de France), a French journalist, has a near–death experience that shakes her reality. And when Marcus, a London schoolboy, loses the person closest to him, he desperately needs answers. Each on a path in search of the truth, their lives will intersect, forever changed by what they believe might—or must—exist in the hereafter.
