More like Edward Ravenhands right? Goodnight everybody!

Welcome to The CoF Weekend Preview, here is a look at what’s opening this weekend and what else you might want to watch. This week we celebrated THE CITY STRIP #100, if you missed it check it out.

THE FIVE-YEAR ENGAGEMENTRT (61%) – Trailer

Jason Segel is being Jason Segel again, and I’m not really tired of it, so I guess I welcome this movie.  Alison Brie stars in the film as well, so there’s that too.

THE PIRATES! BAND OF MISFITSRT (87%) – Trailer

Your kids will love you for it and you might get a kick out of what looks to be a reasonable time at the movies.  Hugh Grant stars in his first animated role which is actually surprising.

SAFERT (55%) – Trailer

I can’t be the only one seeing the Mercury Rising connection here.  Bald guy protects little kid, replace boy with girl, change the color of the hoodie and you got yourself another movie.  Kids love to crack codes don’t they?

THE RAVENRT (19%) – Trailer

I’m curious to know why this movie is getting so much hate.  John Cusack is great, people loved Sherlock Holmes when it came out all stylish.  Must be the lack of Vampires.

OTHER:

Real Time – (Friday, HBO) – The only roundtable show on TV worth watching.  Guests this week are Charles Murray, Paul Riechoff, Paul Begala, Andrew Ross Sorkin and S.E. Cupp.

The Ricky Gervais Show – (Friday, HBO) – This episode used audio from the Comic Relief podcast, one of the best.

Family Guy, The Simpsons – (Sunday, FOX) – Why isn’t American Dad on?  Someone write a letter.
