Welcome to The CoF Weekend Preview where we take a look at what’s going on this weekend in entertainment. Check back Sunday night for the Box Office Report and return Monday for The City Strip. Don’t forget to check out the CoF Summer Movie Guide 2011 for what else is coming soon to theaters. And Here We…Go!
I’ve mentioned it before but it’s worth mentioning again, I don’t like these movies. Cars was just not fun nor did it need a sequel. The folks at Pixar on the other hand love this stuff and will make it anyways, good for them I suppose, but the track record ends today. Cars is running at 34% approval, Pixar’s first ever “rotten” score. Someone’s in trouble.
What’s not to like? Justin Timberlake of course, but Jason Segal and a camera friendly Cameron Diaz are nothing to complain about. For those of you who have seen Bad Santa, School for Scoundrels and Mr. Woodcock you can probably just go ahead and skip it.
Other:
Conan O’Brien Can’t Stop – IMD – RT (74%) – Limited release, here’s the trailer.
True Blood (HBO, Sunday) — Season premiere! I didn’t watch Season 3, I have some catching up to do.
