The CoF Presents: Our Favorite Batman Movie Moments (part 1 of 2)

Arguably the greatest comic hero of all time, Batman has an impressive track record that quite frankly would be too long for the Internet to handle. So with The Dark Knight Rises release growing ever so close, we have put together some of our favorite Batman movie moments from all of the feature films. Do you have a favorite moment that didn’t make the list? You probably do, so let us know about it in the comments below.  *Spoilers Herein*

Batman Punches a Shark…in the Face! (Batman: The Movie – 1966)

We can’t say much more about this scene other than it’s incredible. This is not even 10 minutes into the film and already they went so over the top there is no going back. They close the movie off by dehydrating the United World Organization’s Security Council by the way.

Is that a 3 ft. long magnum in your pants or are you just happy to see me? (Batman – 1989)

This could have just been a list of our favorite Joker moments, there are so many to choose from.  Jack Nicholson in this iconic role if unforgettable and this moment did it for us; you just don’t steal a man’s parade balloons.

Partyman – Batman (1989)

I could watch this scene every day, the soundtrack for the film is killer and when you have Jack Nicholson dancing to it and vandalising some priceless art in the process, all is well in the world.

March of the Penguin Bombers – (Batman Returns – 1992)

He gives a good speech, it comes a little late for him sadly. One of Danny Devito’s finest roles if you ask me, he embodies everything you want from a villain, and you feel some empathy for the poor soul too.  Click the image to watch it on YouTube or click here.

I’m Catwoman…hear me roar – (Batman Returns – 1992)

Michelle Pfeiffer in a tight leather cat suit, what kind of men would we be if we didn’t include this gem? Having said that, Anne Hathaway is portraying Selina Kyle in The Dark Knight Rises, so we have competition people.  This is a great entrance from the feisty feline.

Joker & Hazel – (Batman: Mask of the Phantasm – 1993)

Phantasm is an underrated venture into the Batman series; it is a great companion to the animated series and it just so happens that the Joker steals the show here too, surprised? Any scene with him and Hazel, his robotic wife is hilarious.
