
The 2011 winners of the Cannes Film Festival were announced today and despite the mixed reaction to Terrence Malick‘s The Tree of Life. the film took home the top prize, the Palme d’Or – it hits theaters on May 27.
Other notable wins are listed below, they include Kirsten Dunst winning Best Actress for Nazi joker Lars Von Trier‘s Melancholia and Nicolas Winding Refn won Best Director for Drive. Jump for the list:
