*Legal Update* My brother sent me this (my #1 fan) – Seagal and A&E are now being sued over the reality show. Genuine Entertainment just filed a lawsuit claiming they were in talks with Seagal and his agent to film a reality show but were then “backstabbed” by everyone [More, TMZ]. This sounds like a case of what’s good for the goose is good for the gander. What is a gander, anyway? It’s a goose that’s had the ol’ switcheroo pulled on it…well that was random.
Pop quiz, hot shot! What is the only movie Steven Seagal ever died in? That’s right, the 1996 Oscar snub EXECUTIVE DECISION. See the death here, it’s awesome.
Good news today, Seagal is back from the dead and on our TV’s in Steven Seagal: Lawman.[trailer after jump]
Until now, Seagal has never sought publicity for his work with the Jefferson Parish Sheriff’s Office. However, over a span of almost two decades, he has regularly gone out on patrol and worked major cases. The series will allow fans to ride shotgun with Seagal as he and his hand-selected elite team of deputies respond to crimes-in-progress. [nola]
Quote of the year:
I am hoping that I can be known as a great writer and actor some day, rather than a sex symbol. - Steven Seagal
