It’s been something like a day since we last posted Ricky Gervais news, sorry for the delay. As Jason Segel’s “The Muppets” moves forward, it seems that every other day there is some high-profile celebrity said to be appearing in the film. Ricky Gervais is now said to be joining the growing cast alongside (deep breath) Emily Blunt, Zach Galifianakis, Jack Black, Donald Glover, Danny Trejo, Eric Stonestreet, John Krasinski, Ed Helms, Lady Gaga, Paul Rudd, Alan Arkin, Billy Crystal, and Jean-Claude Van Damme. Did I forget anyone? Oh yeah! My mailman. The movie is set to be released December 25, 2011.
This movie has crazy potential to be great, Jason Segal and Nicholas Stoller are a solid team (Forgetting Sarah Marshall) and seems to know a thing or two about Muppets. Ricky Gervais is no stranger to Muppet’s, here is his classic meeting with Elmo.
