twinpeaksxIt is one of the best TV shows ever produced.  Its acclaim is worldwide.  It was new, dark, and such a turn from what was on TV at the time.  I am of course talking about the brilliant TWIN PEAKS. I remember watching this show back in its original run when  It felt like the whole world was watching to figure out what was going to happen next, and it was never what was expected.  Peoples trust in TV shows and the “formula” was broken forever.  Thankfully.  Almost 20 years since the original airing and subsequent movie Twin Peaks: Fire Walk with Me and it’s still amazing to watch.  If you haven’t already, find the DVD set of your choosing and get to it.

Below is a video with Angelo Badalamenti, an American composer known for his movie soundtrack work for director David Lynch, notably Blue Velvet, the Twin Peaks saga, and Mulholland Drive.  He explains the process of bringing the now infamous and chilling Twin Peaks theme to David Lynch.
