It’s Official: Arnold Schwarzenegger To Join Sylvester Stallone In THE TOMB
If you checked out our Facebook page yesterday you probably saw the image of Arnold Schwarzenegger and Sylvester Stallone in the hospital together getting shoulder surgery. Well have no fear, that the pair are will be back on the big screen together in an upcoming action/thriller says deadline. The Tomb is about a prison designer (Stallone) who is imprisoned in his own design, and must rely on a seasoned con (Schwarzenegger) to escape.
The two actors are in and Mikael Håfström (The Rite, 1408) is set to direct. The film will shoot this spring. Miles Chapman (Road House 2) wrote the screenplay with Jason Keller (Machine Gun Preacher, Mirror Mirror) doing a rewrite.
The Tomb follows Ray Breslin (Stallone) who is the world’s foremost authority on structural security. He’s analyzed every high security prison and has gained a vast array of survival skills. But all Ray’s ingenuity and knowledge are about to be put to work in the most challenging test he’s ever faced: escaping from the master prison of his own design. Schwarzenegger, in the role of Church, plays a complex inmate with multiple shades of grey. He’s the guy who fights to keep the prisoners from losing their humanity in their darkest hour as they struggle together to stay alive.
