I enjoyed Rob Zombies first take on Halloween a whole bunch. His gritty style and fearless quest to make me cringe worked. The second re-imagination however won’t be making the best of 2009 list sadly. It was good funs don’t get me wrong, but I could sense he was even tired of this story already. This alternate ending (after the jump) however is pretty different. Don’t watch it if you have not seen the theatrical version and plan to. If you don’t care, then have at it. Something I always add to Rob Zombie post, and will continue tradition here is this; rent and or buy The Devils Rejects. It’s really one of the best movies of the last decade or more. The final ten minutes still gets me making a fist McFly Sr. style and telling the world to “bring it!” Eh, you have to see it.
