The original Fubar is a Canadian mockumentary about two mullet-sporting metalheads that achieved cult status back in 2002. Now Paul Spence, David Lawrence and director Michael Dowse are returning to see where they are at some eight years later.
With Deaner having beaten testicular cancer five years ago, the two friends are slowly starting to realize that they want something more out of life. When Tron offers to get them jobs on the pipelines in Fort McMurray, they jump on the opportunity, but money and a new girl threaten to drive the duo apart. Fubar II will premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival as part of the Midnight Madness program, and will hit select theatres in Canada on October 1st.
