First Trailer for James Wan’s THE CONJURING

March 1st, 2013 by Graham McMorrow

the-conjuring-posterHere is a rather creepy  trailer for James Wan’s (Insidious, Saw) horror film The Conjuring Starring Lili Taylor, Ron Livingston, and Vera Farmiga.  Wan’s movies have been entertaining, Insidious especially was a high point in his filmography for me.  It was scary as hell.

So here’s hoping The Conjuring doesn’t break the streak; if this trailer is any indication we won’t have a problem.

The movie is based on the story of the Perron family who inhabited a haunted Rhode Island farmhouse in the 1970s.  I don’t know where to start with that twaddle, so let’s just pretend it’s for entertainment sake and they weren’t seriously trying to pass this on as an actual event in time.

Before there was Amityville, there was Harrisville. Based on a true story, “The Conjuring” tells the horrifying tale of how world-renowned paranormal investigators Ed and Lorraine Warren were called upon to help a family terrorized by a dark presence in a secluded farmhouse. Forced to confront a powerful demonic entity, the Warrens find themselves caught in the most terrifying case of their lives.

House Of Darkness House Of Light. The true story of the Perron family. Written by Andrea Perron. It’s a memoir…. a trilogy. Go search it for yourself and enjoy!
