Box Office Report: Thor Takes Top Spot Again, Brides Follow

Not a lot going on this past weekend, the numbers are in and it’s Thor once again taking #1 with $34M for a two week total of $115M, not too shabby. Bridesmaids was expected to do well, maybe not this good taking in $22.4M, it was also expected to be bunch of girls burping and farting like the boys do, it’s not, check this one out.

1. Thor – $34.5M – ($119.3M)
2. Bridesmaids – $22.4M
3. Fast Five – $19.5M – ($168M)
4. Priest – $14.5M
5. Rio – $8M – ($124M)

The other new wide release, Priest, came in fourth place with a soft $14.5M up against a $60M budget – expect this one to tap out next weekend. Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides hits next week and is sure to make a bundle, as much as previous entries? Who knows? It Should be interesting.
