Bobcat Goldthwait’s GOD BLESS AMERICA Has A Release Date and Poster

In September last year Bobcat Goldthwait’s latest God Bless America premiered at TIFF, the film got picked up by Magnolia and finally has some dates for us and a solid poster.

God Bless America stars Joel Murray and Tara Lynne Barr, it will hit VOD and various digital platforms on April 6 and then open in limited theaters starting May 11.  Check out the movies Facebook page for updates.

Loveless, jobless and possibly terminally ill, Frank has had enough of the downward spiral of America. With nothing left to lose, Frank takes his gun and decides to off the stupidest, cruelest and most repellent members of society with an unusual accomplice: 16-year-old Roxy, who shares his sense of rage and disenfranchisement. From stand-up comedian and director Bobcat Goldthwait comes a scathing and hilarious attack on all that is sacred in the United States of America.

I did enjoy Bobcat’s last movie World’s Greatest Dad [my review], GBA sounds like a movie I’m going to enjoy a whole lot, looks to be in the vein of Natural Born Killers.  It could be something controversial if given a wider release, too bad.
